We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Services Manager to join one of our residential aged care home in Northern Suburbs Melbourne and play a key leadership role within the clinical team.

About the Role:

This is far more than a standard clinical management position.

As our Clinical Services Manager, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing the delivery of high quality clinical care within the home while supporting and mentoring nursing and care teams to achieve outstanding resident outcomes.

Working closely with the Facility Manager and broader leadership team, you will help drive clinical excellence, compliance, continuous improvement and best practice care across the home.

You will be responsible for supporting clinical governance, overseeing care planning and assessments, mentoring staff, managing complex clinical situations and fostering a positive and accountable clinical culture.

This role offers the opportunity to genuinely influence the quality of care delivered every day while building strong relationships with residents, families, staff and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight across the home
  • Support and mentor Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers
  • Oversee clinical assessments, care planning and documentation processes
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance requirements
  • Support accreditation processes, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage complex clinical situations and emergency responses
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and implement improvement strategies where required
  • Support medication management and safe clinical practice standards
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals
  • Support staff education, development and ongoing learning
  • Drive a positive, accountable and resident focused team culture
  • Work collaboratively with the Facility Manager and leadership team to achieve operational and clinical goals

About You:

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Required)
  • Previous leadership experience within residential aged care (Required)
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes
  • Demonstrated experience managing and supporting clinical teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage complex care needs
  • Experience with care planning, clinical documentation and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a broader leadership team
  • Passion for mentoring, supporting and developing staff
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and person centred care
  • Positive, professional and team focused attitude
  • Current Police Check (Required)
