Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications and wound care
- Ensuring compliance with relevant aged care standards, policies, and procedures
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to implement tailored care plans
- Accurately maintaining clinical documentation and resident records
- Fostering a positive, supportive, and respectful team culture
About you ...
You are a highly organised energetic and self motivated individual, someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. You'll have a high level of teamwork with colleagues and empathy and compassion too.
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
Essential skills and competencies:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, including acting in charge
- Previous experience in aged care (essential)
- A compassionate, resident-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and team members
- Reliability and a collaborative spirit
