Boronia Aged Care | Part Time | 31 hours per fortnight

We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, working 31 hours per fortnight.

As a Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in delivering safe and effective clinical care while supporting the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.

Key Duties

· Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care to all residents in accordance with their individual care needs and clinical requirements

· Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans

· Administering medications safely and accurately in accordance with legislation, clinical guidelines, care plans and MACG policies

· Performing clinical assessments and specialised nursing procedures, including wound care, pressure injury management and blood glucose monitoring

· Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing, recognising changes in condition and responding appropriately to clinical incidents and emergencies

· Providing clinical leadership, supervision and support to Personal Care Workers to ensure safe and effective resident care

· Liaising with GPs, allied health professionals, families and other healthcare providers to support coordinated resident care

· Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and compliance with AHPRA requirements, relevant legislation, MACG policies, clinical standards and Work Health and Safety requirements

About You

· Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

· Previous experience in residential aged care is highly regarded

· Strong clinical assessment, medication management and documentation skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· A compassionate, person-centred approach to resident care

· Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families and the wider care team

· Strong commitment to clinical governance, quality and safe work practices
