Personal Care Worker - Traralgon

We are looking for a passionate Personal Care Worker to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, independence and choice.

Working alongside our experienced care team, you will:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing
• Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Follow all relevant care, infection control and workplace health and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Caring, compassionate and genuinely passionate about supporting older people
• Respectful of residents’ dignity, privacy, culture and individual choices
• Reliable, professional and committed to providing high-quality care
• A strong communicator who works well as part of a team
• Confident working independently and managing competing priorities
• Committed to continuous learning and development

You will have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
• Previous experience working in aged care is desirable
• Current Police Check and relevant screening requirements
• Australian working rights
