About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to manage the end-to-end admissions process across our portfolio of homes.

You will act as a key point of contact for residents, families, hospitals, and referral partners, providing guidance, support, and a compassionate experience throughout the admissions journey.

This role requires strong knowledge of aged care funding models, legislation, and regulatory requirements, including RAD/DAP arrangements, AN-ACC classifications, understanding of HELF requirements and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.

You will work closely with Home Managers, Clinical teams, Finance, and Administration to ensure admissions are efficient, compliant, and aligned with occupancy targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the end-to-end admissions process for prospective residents
  • Support families through decision-making and funding arrangements
  • Build strong relationships with hospitals, placement agencies, and community partners
  • Conduct facility tours and provide information on services and accommodation options
  • Work collaboratively with Home Managers and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate records and track admissions activity
  • Support occupancy targets across the portfolio

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in aged care admissions, healthcare administration, or a similar client-facing role
  • Demonstrates strong communication, relationship-building, and empathy skills
  • Has a compassionate, customer-focused approach and can manage sensitive conversations
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Works independently while collaborating across teams
  • Has a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in admissions practices
  • Knowledge of aged care funding, AN-ACC, understanding of HELF requirements and the residential Aged Care Quality Standards (highly desirable).
