Get it done at M2P

M2P was created to do engineering differently. To challenge and deliver better solutions to clients, and to take pride in a job done right. It’s worked, and now, we’re kicking on.

Today, we’re a market leader in construction, engineering and fabrication services, specialising in heavy industrial structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) projects across Australia.

We’re growing all the time, but we never forget what matters most: our people.

This is your opportunity to get stuck into good, honest work with a successful, forward-thinking business that takes care of its own.

Join us as our Interstate Truck Driver, and help shape a business that has its eyes on the future, with a team that has your back.

Based at our Salisbury Workshop in Brisbane, we are currently seeking a skilled MC truck driver to join our team. With permanent employment and a team that has your back, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our growing company for an immediate start.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Safely transporting our fleet, equipment and materials by driving interstate routes and handling our local deliveries using our Kenworth T909 and Freightliner Argosy
  • Loading and unloading drop deck, step deck and flat deck trailers with precision and care.

What you’ll bring

  • An MC Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in interstate driving is essential
  • Comfortable with overnight stays in the sleeper cab
  • Proficient in safely loading and unloading fleet, equipment and materials onto drop deck, step deck and flat deck trailers in accordance with loading and unloading procedures
  • Forklift licence
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance, including fatigue management, chain of responsibility and national heavy vehicle law
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

You'll also be required to:

  • Undergo Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (Police Check)
  • Provide a Traffic History Report
  • Undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Why M2P Engineering?

At M2P, we do a whole lot: engineering, construction, fabrication, maintenance … the list goes on. And we do it bloody well.

We work hard, and we expect plenty of each other. Our people get that because that’s how we win. And it’s how you will, too.

So, what can you expect from a career with us?

Well, it’s about three things:

  • Work. The way it should be. We take pride in quality work, completed to spec and on time. Things can’t always go according to plan, of course, but we’re proud to exceed expectations and deliver on what we promise.
  • Your career. The way it should be. With so many interesting projects to get stuck into, there’s ongoing work and a stable future here. Just give it a solid go, do the job well, and we’ll look after you.
  • A real team. The way it should be. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with an honest, reliable and respectful team. We’re mates looking after mates, and when the going gets tough, that’s when we step up for you the most.
