Fixed Task

This isn’t a sit-back HSE role.

You’ll be on the ground, in it with the crews, supporting safe delivery across underground operations on a major mining project. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and varied — where your input actually matters and your experience is valued.

You’ll have the autonomy to own your space, the backing of a solid leadership team, and the chance to genuinely influence how safety is done on site.

If you’re someone who likes being visible, building trust with crews, and making a real difference day-to-day — you’ll fit in well here.

You’ll make an impact by:

●       Being present on site and working closely with crews to keep safety practical and front of mind

●       Identifying risks early and helping teams manage them before they become issues

●       Leading inspections, audits, and risk assessments across underground works

●       Supporting incident investigations and making sure learnings stick

●       Driving a proactive, no-shortcuts safety culture

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

●       Experience as a HSE Advisor in mining, construction, or heavy industry

●       Exposure to underground environments

●       Solid understanding of legislation, compliance, and risk management

●       The ability to communicate clearly and build trust across all levels

●       Cert IV in WHS (or equivalent)

Ideally, you will also have:

●       ICAM or similar investigation training

●       Emergency response / incident management exposure

●       A practical, no-nonsense approach to safety

●       The confidence to challenge when needed and support when it counts
