Get stuck into complex brownfields construction projects where your organisational skills and logistical expertise will help keep everything on track.
As our valued Materials and Logistics Supervisor, your sharp attention to detail and pride in running an efficient yard and laydown will be key to M2P’s continued success on major sites.
Based on a 2:1 FIFO roster in South Australia, you’ll draw on your materials handling, coordination and communication skills to support the efficient delivery of critical equipment and materials to support a high-performing construction team. You’ll work closely with supervisors, planners and engineers to ensure materials are where they need to be — when they need to be there.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Coordinating delivery, receipting and storage of materials in alignment with construction schedules
- Managing yard and laydown organisation to streamline access and efficiency
- Tracking inventory and resolving shortages or overages in real time
- Ensuring materials are compliant and ready for installation upon arrival
- Liaising with vendors, procurement and site supervisors to maintain flow of critical materials
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Brownfields construction experience
- Proven background in materials handling or logistics coordination on site
- Current Driver’s Licence
- High level of computer literacy and confidence using inventory systems
- Sound understanding of safety and compliance in construction logistics
Ideally, you will also have:
- A trade or warehousing background
- SAP or similar ERP experience
- Great communication and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
