QAQC Coordinator

Fixed Task

Take ownership of QA across a major underground SMP project, where your expertise will directly influence project outcomes and delivery standards.

Working closely with site leadership, you’ll set the benchmark for quality on site — driving compliance, lifting standards, and embedding best practice across all phases of the project.

Based in Tanami, you’ll bring a sharp eye for detail and strong technical capability to lead QA systems, oversee documentation, and ensure all works are executed safely, efficiently, and to spec.

You’ll make an impact by:

●       Leading and continuously improving QA systems to align with client and M2P standards

●       Owning ITPs, MDRs, & turnover documentation, ensuring accuracy & completeness at every stage

●       Conducting audits & inspections across underground SMP works, identifying risks early & driving resolution

●       Partnering with supervisors, engineers, & HSE to proactively embed quality into daily operations — not just compliance

●       Monitoring QA performance, raising NCRs, and driving corrective actions through to close-out

●       Supporting project delivery through strong documentation control & readiness for handover

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

●       Proven QA experience across construction or SMP mining projects, ideally in a site-based role

●       Strong underground project experience, with an understanding of site constraints & execution challenges

●       Solid knowledge of ITPs, MDRs, turnover packages, & QA documentation systems

●       The ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, & standards with confidence

●       High attention to detail, with the ability to influence teams & drive accountability on site

Ideally, you will also have:

●       Experience working on brownfields mining or shutdown-style projects

●       Relevant QA, engineering, or trade-based qualifications

●       Exposure to client-facing QA requirements & handover processes

●       A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge when needed
