Full Time

As a valued member of our Products team, you will play a vital role in taking the design, development, and verification of M2P’s engineered products range to the next level. With a strong focus on our inflatable and safety critical products, you will bring a strong practical mindset, coupled with a broad understanding of material properties, engineering analysis, manufacturing, quality, and project delivery. Working within an ISO 9001 certified environment, you will help embed best-practice engineering processes and directly influence product safety, performance, and scalability.

You’ll make an impact by:

●   Leading end-to-end product design and development, from concept through to production release.

●   Supporting clients with practical solutions building on our existing inflatable safety product line, including monitoring, control, deployment and retrieval devices.

●   Document designs for manufacture and working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs translate into products.

●   Developing and executing physical testing programs to validate FEA, calculations, and design assumptions.

●   Standardising best-practice engineering processes within an ISO 9001 design environment

●   Translating real world operating conditions into robust, verifiable engineering solutions

●   Mentoring junior team members

●   Supporting the ongoing evolution of the company’s engineered products portfolio

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

●  A degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in product design and development

●  Strong capability in mechanical analysis, including FEA and first principles calculations.

●  Hands on experience designing and running physical test programs and interpreting results.

●  Practical understanding of design verification and validation methodologies

●  Clear technical communication skills and a structured, methodical approach

Ideally, you will also have:

●  Experience with inflatable, flexible, polymer, composite, or pressure-based systems.

●  Exposure to ISO 9001 design control, change management, and technical documentation.

●  Experience developing test protocols where standards are limited or non-existent

●  Background in mining, energy, infrastructure, or industrial product environments

●  Interest in helping build and mature engineering capability and systems.
