Health & Injury Management Advisor
M2P Engineering

Full Time
As our Health & Injury Management Advisor, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end injury and health management across our national operations.
This is a hands-on, influential role where you’ll work closely with employees, leaders, and external providers to drive early intervention, support recovery, and promote overall workforce health.
Based in our Teneriffe Head Office, with some interstate travel, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we approach injury management, health monitoring, and prevention across M2P.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Managing end-to-end case management, including early intervention, RTW planning, and ongoing employee support
- Actively engaging with injured workers, including attending medical appointments where required
- Coordinating and managing non-work-related injury and health management plans
- Reviewing and assessing pre-employment medicals
- Overseeing and managing health surveillance programs, including exposure monitoring (e.g. crystalline silica)
- Building strong relationships with RTW Coordinators, HSE teams, insurers, and external case managers across multiple states
- Managing systems and relationships with medical providers and allied health professionals
- Ensuring accurate OSHA classification of injuries and illnesses
- Staying up to date with relevant legislation across health, injury management, and workers compensation
- Driving health promotion, injury prevention, and wellbeing initiatives across the workforce
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in injury management, occupational health, or case management within mining, construction, or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of workers compensation and RTW processes across multiple states
- Experience with early intervention and proactive injury management strategies
- Confidence engaging with workers, medical professionals, and stakeholders at all levels
- Experience managing health surveillance and medical programs
- Solid knowledge of injury classification, legislation, and compliance requirements
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine passion for health, wellbeing, and prevention
Ideally, you will also have:
- Return to Work Coordinator certification (multi-state highly regarded)
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or similar
- Allied health background (e.g. physio, rehab, nursing) — highly desirable
