Project Planner / Scheduler

M2P Engineering

Cadia Gold Mine, Orange, NSW

This is not a sit-back planning role. This is a hands-on, front-line position working across a live processing plant where sequencing, shutdown planning and real-time decision making matter.

You will be responsible for planning the Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) works, including tie-ins, piping, equipment installation and structural steel.

You will be vital to the continued success of our long-standing relationship and history at Cadia. And you’ll be supported by a down-to-earth team of leaders, experts and reliable, hard-working people who step up for you. 

You’ll make an impact by:

• Developing and maintaining integrated construction schedules across multiple work fronts
• Driving shutdown planning, lookaheads and execution sequencing
• Identifying risks, trends and actively influencing outcomes on site
• Coordinating with engineers, supervisors and client stakeholders
• Producing clear reporting that reflects real progress and real constraints

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Strong experience as a Planner/Scheduler on SMP or process plant projects
• Advanced capability in Primavera P6
• Experience working for a contractor in brownfield/live plant environments
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-discipline schedules
• Confidence to challenge and influence delivery teams

Ideally, you will also have:

• Mechanical or engineering background
• Shutdown and commissioning exposure
• Experience on mining or mineral processing projects
