ADP Namibia (a Lycopodium business) invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified Senior Process Engineers, who will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant process study and design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures to agreed schedules.

The tasks you’ll perform (include but are not limited to):

Provide proficient and accurate process design input into studies and detailed design.

Develop designs in accordance with process, client and regulatory standards.

Ensure all process deliverables are peer checked and meet or exceed industry, Company and client quality standards.

Work collaboratively with personnel across all disciplines and business units.

Strive to continuously maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of relevant metallurgical test-work, upcoming processes, designs and operating strategies.

Continuously mentor junior process engineers to ensure ADP Namibia and Lycopodium maintain an unsurpassed process engineering reputation throughout their industry peers and with their clientele.

The expertise you’ll bring:                     

Tertiary Qualification in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy

10+ years’ Engineering experience

10+ years' experience in mineral processing operations

Strong, proven experience in minerals processing; including Uranium and Gold amongst these commodities

Namibian Citizen or Permanent Resident (please submit ID/Permanent Residence Permit with application)

Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables, within budget and schedule constraints.

High attention to detail and knowledge of process design.

Demonstrate ability to use specific proprietary software packages relevant to the Process Engineering discipline.

Adaptability

Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.

Demonstrate ability with the Microsoft suite of software packages, including Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a team and knowledge sharing environment.

Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and a practical approach to solving engineering problems.

Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development.

Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.
