Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering and participating in the Lycopodium Graduate Programme, Graduate Mechanical Engineer is responsible to support and learn how to deliver accurate, professional and compliant design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures.

The tasks you'll perform

• Perform accurate mechanical and piping engineering designs and calculations. 
• Provide engineering support to the drawing office. 
• Package engineering and procurement support. 
• Vendor document review and management. 
• Compile material take-offs. 
• Construction and commissioning support. 

The expertise you'll bring

• Recognised Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Up to 3 years' post graduate experience
• South African Citizen
• Cape Town Based
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a multi-disciplinary professional environment
• Computer literacy (MS Office; Industry specific software)
