Lycopodium Africa is currently recruiting for a Site Administrator to join our growing Project team in East Africa.

Reporting to the Construction Manager the Site Administrator will be responsible for managing and coordinating site administration, document control and procurement efforts for the Site Construction team.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Ensure administrative support, document control, systems and resources to all members of the construction team.
  • Establish and maintain the site drawings and specifications, with current revisions.
  • Monitor and document all Project documentation flow to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain a man-hour record for all site Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Vendor's Representatives, EPCM Engineer's staff and miscellaneous Contractors and publish on a weekly basis.

The expertise you'll bring

  • Technical Certificate/Tertiary Education Qualification, Degree or Diploma (desirable) or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar position within the mining and minerals processing sector
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across engineering, construction and business spheres. . 
  • Build and sutain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
