Under the general direction of the People and Culture Lead, Americas, this position provides support for a wide range of People and Culture responsibilities for Lycopodium (Americas) Ltd. (Company). The role involves administrative support and coordination across core People and Culture activities including, maintaining up-to-date People and Culture policies, People analytics, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of employees, project site administration, and other related People and Culture programs and initiatives. The position also contributes to a positive employee experience by acting as a trusted first point of contact for HR-related queries.

Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a People and Culture Coordinator to join our growing People and Culture team in Mississauga, ON.
In this role you will support the People and Culture Lead, Americas on a variety of administrative components such as People and Culturepolicies, projects, employment changes (promotions, transfers, leaves of absence), and organizational initiatives. We are seeking a new team member who has expert analytical and reporting skills and is comfortable managing a wide range of administrative tasks and meeting deadlines.
In addition, you will also:
· Actively build a strong employer brand and ensure a positive candidate experience.
· Assist in the end-to-end delivery of professional People and Culture services.
· Work collaboratively with employees across all business units.
The tasks you'll perform
- Own the end-to-end new starter experience, ensuring every employee’s journey starts strong, from contracts and onboarding documentation to compliance requirement and engaging inductions.
- Manage the off-boarding process to ensure compliance including but not limited to; exit interviews, collecting Company property, etc.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, helping ensure employees have access to and understanding of their benefits programs,
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment activities, including internal and external job postings/advertisements, interview coordination, reference checks, candidate communication, and student recruitment initiative
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records by supporting the Human Resource Information System and ensuring data integrity for payroll and reporting purposes.
- Assist with the immigration and mobility processes, supporting compliance across relevant jurisdictions for international placements and assignments.
- Collaborate with the global People Group ensuring consistency across the organization with People and Culture documentation.
- Deliver professional HR support by adhering to the Company’s People and Culture policies, procedures and best practices.
- Support reporting and insights by collating data, statistics and documentation for business development, management and reporting needs.
The expertise you'll bring
- University degree in Human Resources or equivalent from a recognised post-secondary institution.
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in an HR administrative role within related industries.

The expected salary range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000. This range is based on the role’s job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting. Your final offer will depend on factors such as market conditions, internal equity and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role. We believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects the value you bring to the team.
