We're currently expanding our Australian division and as such we're looking for a special Software Engineer to join our team!
We're looking for an outgoing individual who is equally passionate about developing great software and ensuring it is delivered to the people that need it. We’re searching for an individual that has a clear focus on client outcomes and experience in ensuring client needs and their requirements are understood and the matching solution delivered; as such excellent communication skills are essential both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities:
- A passion for working with our clients and colleagues.
- Understanding and delivering client workflows and their needs.
- Possess a drive to constantly improve themselves and the services we offer.
- Software delivery under an Agile and CI/CD paradigm
- Reinforcing our dev-ops culture by expanding your dev-ops knowledge and sharing this with your colleagues
- Ensuring that unit tests are built and maintained
- Handling and troubleshooting of support related issues
- Working independently and as part of a growing team for larger project work
- Building and maintaining software within .NET (C#) applications including ASP.NET Web Forms Applications, ASP.NET Web Services, Windows Forms Applications and Windows Services
- Building and maintaining TSQL queries (MS SQL)
- On site visits to hospitals in Australia & NZ to maintain our products
- A degree in Software Development would be advantageous but our focus is more on client outcomes rather than the software product itself.
Our toolset currently consists of:
- TeamCity (CI) and Octopus (CD)
- XUnit/Selenium
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2019
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019 (TSQL, SSAS, SSIS)
- Telerik controls (ASP.NET/Windows Forms)
- Git/BitBucket
- Jira
Our ideal candidate will also have the following:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Outstanding problem solving skills
- Octopus Deploy (or other CD platforms)
- Proficiency in CSS, JSON, XML, Javascript
- Exposure to agile/lean methodologies
- A degree in Software Development (or a similar relevant qualification) or relevant experience
