Senior Product Designer

Luxury Escapes is one of the world’s fastest-growing travel websites with over 6 million members. We’re growing rapidly & seeking a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of our CRO experiments as well as lead the charge with our new upcoming Loyalty program.  

This is a Sydney-based role with our office located just a short walk from Wynyard station. An amazing collaborative environment with breakfast and lunch provided every day, although we're 4 days in the office and 1 day from home. 

About the role  

Our new Loyalty program aims to take our customer relationships to the next level. As the Senior Product Designer you'll shape the strategy, collaborate cross-functionally, and oversee the entire lifecycle of this anticipated program – an opportunity to make your mark on a feature our customers eagerly await.  

In addition to leading the Loyalty program, you will also work across our CRO experiments, fine-tuning website elements to elevate our conversion rates. Your primary focus will be on crafting seamless user experiences that transform visitors into devoted members and purchasers of our exclusive travel packages.  

Our Product Design team  

The Luxury Escapes Product Design Team is a group of passionate UX and UI experts who work closely together to craft exceptional experiences for our customers.  

Our focus is on creating a highly collaborative environment where mutual support and continuous learning are key, as well as having fun along the way.  

• We start each day with brief stand-ups to get everyone up to speed on ongoing projects.  
• We host weekly forums so that designers can showcase their work and get feedback from the whole team.
• Twice a month, we dive into "UXcellency Day" to work our design system called LuxKit.
• Every other week, we do team retros to acknowledge successes and explore areas for improvement.  

What you'll do as part of the role  

• Seek to understand user needs, and business goals and translate them into user-friendly solutions. 
• Generate wireframes, visual mock-ups, and prototypes that will be tested, validated and iterated upon. 
• Work closely with the Director of Design to drive forward the new vision for Luxury Escapes. 
• Effectively and clearly communicate design ideas and solutions to stakeholders with the ability to take on feedback and build from it. 
• Validate and enhance your designs iteratively by conducting customer testing. 

What we're looking for  

• Extensive experience in commercial UI/UX design.
• Experience taking ownership of the end-to-end product design process of complex digital products/ features that includes designing, shipping and iterating.
• Expertise in Figma design tools including prototyping and design systems.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the product design team, product managers, engineers and wider project stakeholders.
• A deep understanding of responsive design and an eye for detail is particularly important when providing detailed handovers to the engineering team.
• Help to maintain and contribute to our Design System – LuxKit.

A portfolio that demonstrates your experience in product thinking where you have shipped UI/UX design for digital products (examples of e-commerce work would be a bonus). We encourage you to include the file/link in your application for us to review.
