Luxury Escapes is one of the world’s fastest-growing travel websites, with over 6 million members. We are growing rapidly & seeking a Marketing Automation Engineer to join our Customer Comms team. 

Our Customer Communications team is the backbone of our brand's success, driving impactful connections with our valued customers. Working in tandem with the marketing department, we orchestrate compelling email, push, and SMS campaigns that are integral to our revenue generation. By meticulously crafting customer journeys, we ensure that every interaction is tailored and meaningful, nurturing lasting relationships and driving business growth

Luxury Escapes is an in-person company, with 4 days in the office, and 1-day WFH. 

About the team 

Our cross-functional teams include Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers focused on delivering solutions and solving problems rather than simply completing tickets. The structure is flat, and the process is lean, with a culture of MVP, iteration, and "build, measure, learn" at the heart of everything we do. 

What you'll do 

  • Play a crucial role in leveraging Braze's capabilities, particularly adept in utilising Liquid templating language to craft personalised campaigns, and providing technical expertise to enhance our marketing automation efforts. 
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and develop solutions that meet business needs and deliver value to customers. 
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction. 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and participate in code reviews & other quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality software delivery. 

Relevant Skills 

  • Hands-on experience with Braze's platform, showcasing proficiency in CDI canvas push and SMS functionalities 
  • Deep understanding of SQL and familiarity with data analytics tools such as BigQuery are essential for robust campaign analysis and deriving actionable insights. 
  • HTML skills are highly desirable for customising email templates and enhancing the visual appeal of marketing materials.
  • Ability to seamlessly integrate HTML elements into Braze campaigns will further elevate the technical effectiveness of our marketing strategies. 
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and implementation is a plus.
