Our Sydney office is on Kent Street - a short walk from Wynyard station and close to great cafes in Barangaroo.
Luxury Escapes is an in-person company, with 4 days in the office, and 1-day WFH.
Your responsibilities include
- Business Analysis Expertise:
- Apply advanced business analysis techniques to uncover opportunities for growth, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Write detailed specification documents to support introductions of new products and payment methods’ effect on our accounting and financial reporting processes. Collaborate with the finance team to verify accuracy and work with the product & engineering teams to implement.
- Process Optimisation:
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and financial performance of our accounting and financial reporting processes.
- Financial Reporting:
- Work closely with the accounting and engineering teams to produce accurate and timely financial reports.
- Maintain and update financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy with every new product introduced.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Effectively communicate recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and customer success, to deliver high-quality reports and accounts payable processes that meet the needs of our business.
Key Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. [CPA or CFA certification is a plus]
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Highly skilled with using SQL.
- Proven experience as a Financial Business Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
