This role is based in Longreach, QLD, offering a very strong remuneration package including accommodation.

Are you a seasoned hospitality leader ready for your next big challenge? We’re seeking a Senior Venue Manager to take the reins across a multi-outlet operation. Drive success, lead passionate teams, and shape unforgettable community events while making a lasting impact in Queensland’s outback across two well-established venues at the heart of a thriving regional town.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across both venues and all departments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative strategies, creating unique events and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting, ensuring cost controls are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and health & safety requirements.
  • Foster relationships with the local community and enhance the hotel's reputation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Venue Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and inspire your team to deliver excellence.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues)
  • Approved Manager’s License
  • Gaming Nomination & License
  • Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) certification
  • QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
  • QLD RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling)

Note: If you do not currently hold all of the mandatory qualifications, you will be required to obtain before commencing.
