The IT Project Manager needs to have a deep understanding of project management and be the point person between the business and technical teams to ensure project goals are being completed according to established business objectives. Having a background in supply chain and system implementation would be preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing implementation projects for the designated team.
- Drive all business-related decisions imperative to the project.
- Run weekly meetings, status updates, budget decisions, and all other program activities.
- Ascertain team readiness for quarterly plans involving objective estimations and prioritization activities.
- Report and share project milestones
- Manage RAID log and response plans.
- Guide the project teams through integration testing as needed; resolving test defects.
- Oversee Hypercare activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree as well as 5 years of relevant technical project management experience.
- PMP, Agile, and/or other project management certifications are strongly desired.
- Project management, delivery management, or other project support experience in an ERP project implementation environment.
- Proven experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving business-related issues.
- Must have strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong experience managing all aspects of a project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery to the organization.
- Experience managing work plans, schedules, resources, reports, and more.
- An understanding of supply chain processes is preferred.
