The Position

This is a remote role, applicants can be located anywhere in the USA.

Our Senior Vice President of Sales is responsible for achieving revenue growth targets in North America via development of sales strategies, identifying opportunities, and managing a sales process from prospecting through to negotiation and closing. To be successful, it is important that the employee in this position have excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, good presentation skills, experience in a complex sales environment and a detailed understanding of the staffing and contingent workforce industry.

Responsibilities: 

End Client Deal Cultivation

  • Assume full responsibility for sales quota attainment as agreed to and communicated by the leadership team, including the creation of sales territory plans and forecast reports.
  • Identify well-fitted clients, deliver pace of discovery meetings and conversions to meet target outcomes. Leverage lead gen from LiveHire Sales Ops and Marketing. Deliver commercial insights and navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple senior stakeholders. Run the entire sales process for direct sourcing and total workforce management deals, including coordinating and contributing to RFP responses, where applicable.
  • Demonstrated ability to demo the LiveHire platform at a foundational level and outline a high-level solution
  • Ensure solution alignment with all key stakeholders, understanding client requirements and challenges and aligning to our ideal client profile
  • Deliver business cases / commercial proposals, negotiate pricing and contractual agreements, and provide detailed handover notes to the Account Management team for implementation


Partner and Pipeline Development

  • Develop sales pipeline in partnership with top channel partners. Develop joint go-to-market approaches and achieve commercial targets. Engage with our full partner ecosystem in deal progression.
  • Manage partnership agreements and pricing negotiations

Brand Ambassador & Market Knowledge

  • Grow the LiveHire brand in North America as the leading Direct Sourcing technology. Accelerate the adoption by partners and end clients of LiveHire Direct Sourcing solutions and achieve the highest win rate relative to competitors, as well as the strongest reputation for Direct Sourcing solutions that scale and deliver end client outcomes.
  • Speak on behalf of LiveHire at webinars or other industry events, as needed, and liaise with industry thought leaders
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge about company products and services, the marketplace we serve, our competitive landscape, and the broader business initiatives our products and services are leveraged for.
  • Deliver ‘voice of the market’ to the Board of Directors and Product/Dev teams to support product-market fit and continued successful strategy evolution for LiveHire in North America. Partner with and act as a market feedback loop to internal Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and Legal teams to align marketing, product and solution roadmap phases for future plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to craft and deliver prospect marketing campaigns and ensure prospect and pipeline data remains up-to-date

About you

We're looking for our next Senior Vice President of Sales to join our talented team. Our ideal candidate has a client-centric mindset with prior experience selling talent solutions or SaaS platforms. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with the following background:

  • Past software or complex solution sales experience, ideally with a deep understanding of the talent acquisition or staffing technology ecosystem. Ideally 10+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • The ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-level executives
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
  • Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a sales team environment
  • The position is home office based
