About the role
We are looking for a hands-on and organised Catering Events Manager to join our team, working under the leadership of the Catering Operations Manager – South.
You will support the operational delivery of our venue, including racing, events and non-catering-led functions such as self-catered weddings. Working closely with our Operations and Catering teams, you will help deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure events run smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Catering Operations Manager – South in delivering a high-quality customer experience.
- Manage and deliver self-catered weddings and other non-catering-led events.
- Lead logistical set-up and delivery for events and racedays.
- Conduct show rounds and support customer engagement initiatives.
- Lead, train and motivate the casual workforce.
- Support Business Co-ordinators and wider site operations where required.
- Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, including members, owners and trainers.
- Ensure high standards of presentation, health and safety, and operational delivery across the site.
- Promote ARC’s values, brand and Green policy.
About you
You will ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in venue operations, events or a similar environment.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in event preparation, delivery and breakdown.
- Excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A flexible, hands-on approach and a commitment to working as part of a team.
