Liatam Mining Pty Ltd (Liatam) is a privately owned mining services company in Western Australia that offers an extensive range of support and services to the mining industry. Our services include mining, exploration, and mobile maintenance, while our independent EPC division, provides dedicated engineering, procurement, and construction support.
Liatam has successfully assisted in the re-commissioning of operations at the Bald Hill mine for Lithco No.2 Pty Ltd and continues to provide long-term open pit mining and mobile maintenance services on-site.
Liatam's exploration division is actively operating in the eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, the Pilbara region of Western Australia, and Quebec, Canada.

About the role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the excavator and ancillary equipment while operating to the requirements of the site mining plan. You will ensure mining activities are completed in a safe, sustainable, and efficient manner while interacting with the technical services and production team members to undertake industry best practice all relevant mining activities.
About You
- Demonstrated Excavator operation, and sound Dozer and wheel loader Operation experience in an open pit mine site
- Can communicate effectively via 2-way radio
- Skills to identify, rectify and report hazards, accident or injuries
- WA C Class Drivers Licence
