The Role:
Waymark Hotels are on the hunt for a dynamic and driven Assistant Venue Manager to help lead the daily operations at our renowned venues in regional Queensland. In this key role, you'll support the Venue Manager in overseeing the smooth operation of our gaming, bars, restaurant, and accommodation areas, all while delivering authentic hospitality experiences to our valued guests.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service in our bar, restaurant, and accommodation.
- Inspire and mentor your team, driving a positive and productive culture focused on excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Be the point of contact for guest inquiries, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience, from check-in to checkout.
- Assist in managing stock, scheduling, and staff performance while maintaining efficient operations and adhering to budget targets.
- Assist in ensuring the venue adheres to health and safety guidelines, licensing laws, and all regulatory requirements.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues): Required to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
- Approved Manager’s License: Necessary for managing licensed areas and ensuring legal operation.
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol): Essential for serving alcohol responsibly and adhering to legal requirements.
- RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling): Required to oversee gambling activities in a responsible manner.
- CLO (Customer Liaison Officer) Certification: Important for handling customer inquiries and complaints effectively, especially in a licensed venue.
Note: If you do not currently hold all of the mandatory qualifications, you will be required to obtain them before commencing.
