THE ROLE  

Due to continual growth LaserBond is searching for Laser Cladding Operator. This is a full-time position based at the Cavan SA premises. This role offers a true one on one training experience that covers all aspects of the Laser Cladding process. You will gain hands on experience while completing internal training programs.

What will learn about as a Cladding Laser Operator?

• Different industrial components and how they can be reclaimed.
• Varying metal powders and application techniques.
• Programming of robots and lasers via a computer control panel.
• Safe work methods and personal protective equipment.

This position would suit someone with Metals Industry experience, Trades Assistant/Machine Operator or welding background. As this is a specialised industry, full training will be provided, covering all aspects of the Laser Cladding process. You will be provided with the opportunity to learn about different applications, robot programming, engineering drawings and much more.

This position does not require experience however a genuine interest in engineering is a must. You must also have a good mathematical understanding, mature mindset, willingness to be trained.
