We are seeking a strategic, commercially astute, and hands-on General Manager – Customer Operations to lead and transform our Customer Service and Estimating teams. This is a strategic role that forms part of our leadership team reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The position holder will be responsible for transforming our Customer Operations Team using a digital first approach to deliver a world class customer experience. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

•  This role can be Based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide depending on the candidate.

•  Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-site team of Customer Service Officers and Estimators.

•  Standardise and streamline quoting and enquiry-handling processes across all sites.

•  Enhance turnaround times and quote accuracy for projects ranging from small repairs to complex large projects.

•  Ensure collaboration across Customer Operations, Production, Engineering, Dispatch, Quality and Sales teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and executed.

•  Drive process improvement through digital tools, automation, and data-driven insights.

•  Embed a customer-first mindset and ensure alignment with LaserBond’s operational excellence strategy

ABOUT YOU

•  You are a proven strategic leader in Customer Operations.

•  You have the confidence to lead change, the systems thinking to improve processes, and the people skills to build a high-performing team.

•  You possess the ability to think and act strategically as well as the discipline, and attention to detail to implement improvement plans. 

•  Experience in a commercial or operations leadership role within manufacturing, engineering or technical services will be highly regarded.

•  Tertiary qualifications in relevant field or equivalent experience
