We are excited to invite applications for the role of Commercial Account Manager for Laser Group Services. This role will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities..


This role exists to:

  • Influence and grow the Laser Group Services proposition within the B2B markets we operate in and to align with our organisational strategy to be the #1 Brand in New Zealand
  • Looks for Belron NZ cross-sell opportunities within their portfolio of accounts (Laser and Smith&Smith®)
  • Works cross collaboratively with the Commercial Account Manager – Smith&Smith® Laser Group Services, General Manager Laser and wider Commercial team to identify and respond to new business opportunities
  • Develop winning strategies tailored towards anticipating customer requirements and growing customer loyalty
  • Maintain client relations, directing, coordinating and overseeing all activities in accordance with client requirements and company standards
  • Meet or exceed financial & operational goals; provide quality customer service

 

As the Commercial Account Manager, you will work to identify and implement potential business opportunities, developing existing and new relationships and understand the customer's critical business strategies in the New Zealand B2B market.

 

Ideally you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Dynamics CRM) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities + strong interpersonal, persuasive, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Produces written communications which are clear, fluent, concise and jargon-free, and are readily understood by intended recipient(s)

 

This is a crucial role in supporting the critical growth of Laser revenue stream. This is about retention and maximisation of volume and gross margin revenue from customers through strategic tactical sales programs and targeted, strategic account management across a variety of channels.

 

Additional areas of responsibility include:

  • Ensuring Key Account profitability and that operationally contract commitments can be delivered to by the organisation
  • Provide relationship management and gross margin revenue in a portfolio of key account customers
  • Retain and grow gross margin revenue within the customer base through tactical sales programs and targeted, strategic account management across a variety of channels
  • Manage any new accounts within their delegated responsibility
  • Work with Laser Members and key suppliers to develop new business
  • Maintain an approximate 75% account management and 25% new business focus
