Industrial Painters

About the Role 

Larrakia Development Corporation is seeking experienced Industrial Painters to join our host client on a major LNG Maintenance Project in Darwin, NT commencing in April 2026 

Hours of Work: 

• Monday–Thursday: 10.5-hour shifts 
• Friday: 7.6 hours

 What You’ll Need:

• Demonstrated experience as a Painter in the Oil and Gas industry, petrochemical industry or a similar related industry 
• White Card  
• Driver’s Licence 
• High Risk – Working at Heights 
• Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application is desirable but not essential 
• Ability to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to pass a local verification (VOC) assessment for your trade   
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening 
• Safety-focused with strong attention to site procedures 
• Hands-on, reliable painter/blaster who takes initiative 
• Team-oriented and able to work effectively with others
