Property Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for experienced grounds maintenance staff for an immediate start. We have casual positions and Full Time Permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

If you enjoy working outdoors, have a positive attitude towards work and safety, know your way around GM equipment then this position could be perfect for you. 

Maintenance of our equipment is a high priority so care and attention to detail is a must. 

Knowledge of site safety procedures is an advantage as you may visit higher risk sites under our contracts, initiative and the ability to problem solve, with a strong alignment to the organisation values is highly regarded. 

You must have a clean driving record and be willing to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.

Skills and experience

ESSENTIAL

• C Class Driver's License or access to reliable transportation
• White Card
• Ochre Card (or ability to gain one)
• A current National Police Clearance
• Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test and pre-employment medical test

DESIRABLE

• Previous experience in a similar role
• First Aid Certificate
• HR Licence
• Relevant qualifications/certificates in Horticulture, Chemical Handling, Machinery, Chainsaw will be highly regarded.
