About the roles

We're recruiting for a 2-year paid traineeship in Scaffolding or Painting, with a major client based at ILNG Bladin Point.

Trainees will gain hands-on industry experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification.

At the end of the program, successful participants will receive:

  • Scaffolding Stream: Advanced Scaffolding Licence
  • Painting Stream: Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application

In addition, successful participants will continue with an on-the-job training plan to support further career development.

Work hours are 6.30am-5.30pm Monday – Thursday and 6.30am-2.30pm Friday with possible over time. Please note rostered hours are subject to change due to operational requirements.

About what you’ll need

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • C Class Driver’s Licence and reliable transport preferred
  • Physically fit and able to pass an Oil and Gas medical
  • Able to pass regular Drug and Alcohol testing – this is a Zero Tolerance worksite
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Any prior blue-collar or hands-on experience will be highly regarded
