Day to day in this role you will: 

As the Floor Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Auckland Melrose Street café and ensuring our customers enjoy a delightful café experience. Your responsibilities are to set up the café each day, guiding, motivating and training the café team, addressing any operational issues, working with the Head Barista, Café Manager and Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the café and carrying out the cash-up process.  

Our operating hours extends from Monday to Sunday, from 7am-2:30pm. This role requires a commitment of at least 35 hours per week, including weekends. 

About you: 

Your warm and efficient service will enhance customer satisfaction while preserving a welcoming and inviting café ambiance. If you're dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring flawless operations, this is the role you've been seeking. A LCQ license is highly desirable but not essential to succeed in this role. Essential for this role is 1-2 years of experience as a senior floor staff member in a dynamic café setting, coupled with proficient staff management skills.
