About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Enrolled Nurse to join the graduate nursing program in a supportive clinical environment. We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse who will be responsible for providing patient focused care across the organisation while gaining exposure to different clinical areas including acute, theatre and aged care. Our Graduate program promotes the development of confidence and facilitates the building of critical thinking and clinical decision making. Participants are guided and supported to develop and consolidate professional practice skills while enabling nurses to choose a career pathway that will provide job satisfaction and appropriate skill development. 

Our newly developed Graduate Enrolled Nurse program at Kyabram District Health Service aims to facilitate your transition from student nurse to Enrolled Nurse. We are committed to developing your career and ensuring that your graduate year will be an exciting and rewarding experience.

About you

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Administration of Medication Scope of four & five routes for Acute, Aged Care, District Nursing Service or all five for Perioperative
  • Current clinical experience working in an acute setting
  • Basic knowledge of patient management and information systems. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. 
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and commitment to team objectives
  •  Demonstrated evidence of excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Competent computer skills and knowledge of patient management and information technology systems
  • Ability to work across KDHS in the event of clinical escalation
