Ward Clerk
- Ongoing / Part Time
- 24 hours per fortnight (4 shifts per fortnight)
- Rotating roster - includes Weekends and Public Holidays
- Shifts ranging from (must be able to work all of below):
- 0730-1400 Monday to Friday
- 1400-2030 Monday to Friday
- 0830-1600 Weekends
- 0800-1630 Public Holidays

About the Role
The Ward clerk role supports the Acute Ward, Operating and Day Procedure Units. As the main contact for the Acute Ward, the Ward Clerk will provide the "Image" of what Kyabram Health stands for and our values of Caring, Inclusive, Versatile, Accountable and Collaborative.
If you are highly motivated and can adapt well to change and have a positive, friendly mindset then you will do well in this role.
About You
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with a commitment to customer service.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while managing time effectively to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal supervision and show high levels of initiative whilst understanding limitations to Scope of Practice.
- Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office products and the ability to work with multiple software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict information Privacy (Confidentiality)
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills that support and enhance positive relationships.
- Ability to communicate, support and facilitate ease of access to services for all clients/patients regardless of age, culture or ability.
Desirable:
- Experience in i.Patient Management System (IPM)
