Overview

Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala.

About the Role

Our Support Services department ensures the Health Service environment is maintained in a clean, hygienic and pleasant state.

As a member of the Support Services team, whilst it is not expected that you work across all areas, you will have the opportunity to work in Cleaning Services, Laundry, Kitchen and Café. The appointee will contribute to the overall performance of the team, consistent with Kyabram District Health Service’s purpose and values.

About You

  • Ability to work within aged care
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work to time schedules
  • Physical ability to undertake manual handling duties
  • Ability to follow routine daily work schedules with limited supervision and working knowledge of OH & S responsibilities
  • Sound understanding of the English language
  • Must be available to work weekends and public holidays, mornings, afternoons and evenings
