About the Role

The Theatre Technician will work as a competent, reliable member of the peri-operative team, providing patient care, support to the nursing staff and visiting medical officers.

About You

  • Awareness of OH&S issues
  • Awareness of Infection Control issues 
  • Able to work in a small team in a changing environment 
  • Capable of working under supervision 
  • A desire to learn new equipment and its functions. 
  • Ability to prioritise workload 
  • Awareness and respect of patient’s beliefs, religious nationality & patient confidentiality.  Willingness to undertake recognised Theatre Technician course.
