Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. About the Role

 KDHS beautifully refurbished Sheridan Aged Care is ready to committed to providing our residents with a bigger and better Lifestyle Program. We are seeking a creative and compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to lead the Leisure and Lifestyle team in delivering dynamic, person centered activities that support each resident's individual needs, goals and wellbeing.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape an engaging, social and therapeutic environment where residents can thrive. You'll work closely with residents, families , volunteers and staff to design and evaluate group programs and 1:1 activities that make a meaningful difference every day .

The position requires a passionate, caring and supportive team player with a minimum qualification of Cert IV Lifestyle and Leisure.

About You

You are positive, motivated professional with a passion for aged care and quality of life. You are approachable, team orientated, and capable of inspiring others through your initiative and creativity. You bring strong communication and customer service skills, along with the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents and their families

You will also bring

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance/ Lifestyle and Leisure or Aged Care/Disability.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
  •  Ability to maintain professional boundaries and seek advice from others when appropriate.
  •  Demonstrated ability to be able to take instructions from other team members including following through with tasks and report outcomes.
  •  Demonstrated ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to interact with clients in a caring and positive way.
  • Computer literacy, including experience in Microsoft Office programs
