Food Services Assistant

  • 30 hours per fortnight

Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala.

About the Role

Food services assistants will be responsible for the preparation of food trolleys, plating and serving of food and delivery of meals to patients, residents and staff according to the food safety plan. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment of the kitchen is clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing according to documented cleaning schedules.

About You

  • Food Handlers safety certificate
  • Experience in the food service industry
  • Ability to work within aged care
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work to time schedules
