Procurement Office - Part Time / Ongoing

The Procurement Officer carry's out the administrative functions associated with the engagement, monitoring and evaluation of external contractors and service providers. This includes maintaining the contract management system, sending reminders to contract holders for performance reviews, contract expirations, documentation requirements and legislative compliance.

As a member of the Procurement team, the appointee will contribute to the overall performance of the team consistent with Kyabram District Health Service Purpose and Values. HELPING OUR COMMUNITY LIVE WELL.

Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala.

About the Role

The Procurement Officer under the guidance of the Finance and Business Manager provides coordination of contract administration throughout the organisation, overseeing the administrative functions associated with the engagement, monitoring and evaluation of external contractors and service providers. This includes maintaining the contract management system, sending reminders to contract holders for performance reviews, contract expirations, documentation requirements and legislative compliance.

About You

  • A qualification in business or administration, or other related qualification.
  • Previous experience in a supply or procurement within a health or government context.
  • Previous experience utilising procurement software for contracts management
