About the Role

The Clinical Care Coordinator at Sheridan Aged Care is a senior leadership role, ideal for an experienced clinician passionate about driving excellence in residential aged care. This role leads the coordination of safe, individualised care, supports AN-ACC optimisation, and ensures compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards. The Coordinator plays a critical part in clinical governance, innovation, and continuous improvement, working collaboratively with a committed multidisciplinary team. With responsibility for mentoring staff, managing complex care needs, and influencing quality outcomes, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, purpose-driven organisation.

About You

You are positive, motivated professional with a passion for aged care and quality of life. You are approachable, team orientated, and capable of inspiring others through your initiative and creativity. You bring strong communication and customer service skills, along with the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents and their families

You will also bring

  • Minimum 3 years nursing experience.
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Gerontology, or related clinical field.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
  •  Ability to maintain professional boundaries and seek advice from others when appropriate.
  • Demonstrated ability to be able to take instructions from other team members including following through with tasks and report outcomes.
  • Experience in supporting change management or innovation within aged care or health services.
  • Ability to interact with clients in a caring and positive way.
  • Computer literacy, including experience in Microsoft Office programs
