Quality, Education and Risk Administrative Support

Quality, Education and Risk Department.

  • 3 days per week - 0.4 ongoing (2 days per week) and 0.2 (1 day per week) on 12 month temporary assignment
  • Travel between Kyabram and Tongala required

Overview

Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing high standard administrative support to the Infection Control, Quality & Education teams with the aim of ensuring processes are effective, proficient and integrated across the department. This position assists with maintaining and organising documentation related to quality assurance and infection control, such as policies, procedures and incident reports. The Infection Control, Quality & Education Administration Officer is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of quality improvement plans and infection control strategies while collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with quality standards and infection control regulations.

  • High level experience using Microsoft Office suite of programs and social media
  • Capable of accurate typing and keyboard operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
  • Capacity to work independently and to drive initiatives
  •  Demonstrated commitment to provide superior levels of customer service
