About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Enrolled Nurse to join the graduate nursing program in a supportive clinical environment. Graduates in the Enrolled Nursing graduate program commence in residential aged care at Kyabram District Health Service to consolidate nursing knowledge and skills obtained in their Diploma of Nursing qualification. The program incorporates completion of 12 months in this department before utilizing these transferable skills to progress/apply for ongoing employment within Kyabram District health Service within a department of Graduates preference (pending vacancy).

This program has one intake annually: January 2026

The program offers you the opportunity to consolidate nursing theory and practice. You are supported by the Education team, clinical support nurses and nurse unit managers and nursing and interprofessional colleagues. The program has a structured 3 day orientation program, 8 x study days throughout the year and ongoing support from the education team.

  • Enhance your decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Allow you to enjoy your nursing career


About you

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Administration of Medication Scope of four & five routes for Acute, Aged Care, District Nursing Service or all five for Perioperative
  • Current clinical experience working in an acute setting
  • Basic knowledge of patient management and information systems. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. 
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and commitment to team objectives
  •  Demonstrated evidence of excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Competent computer skills and knowledge of patient management and information technology systems
  • Ability to work across KDHS in the event of clinical escalation
