The Opportunity:

We're seeking a skilled HV Electrician to help maintain the safe and efficient operation of our world-class equipment. In this role, you'll be responsible for high-voltage electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing Komatsu's heavy machinery, while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational reliability.

Roster:  7/7 day /night shift roster - 12.25 hour shifts (with bus transfer to and from camp)

Role Located: Curragh Coal Mine

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant HV Electrical Trade qualification and certification.
  • Proven experience as an HV Electrician in the automotive or heavy equipment industry, with a focus on electric vehicles, ideally Komatsu machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and components, including inverters, converters, motors, and high-voltage batteries.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety standards and protocols for high-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • HV switching certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
