Fitter - Project

The Opportunity:

Komatsu seeks a HD Fitter/ HV Electrician for our Rio Tinto contract, responsible for providing high level maintenance and repairs on L1850 & L2350 EWL machines, ensuring optimum machine performance and provide excellent customer service.

Roster & Location: We’re offering an 8/6 day shift only roster.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing on-the-job training for our customer's maintenance and operating personnel.
• Develop and refine work scopes for scheduled work and repairs in conjunction with client.
• Managing service delivery in line with targets with a view to be recognised as "best in class".
• Comply with customer safety standards and requirements at all times.
• Optimizing machine performance.
• Assisting customers in the administration of the Komatsu warranty process.

 What we are looking for:

• Trade Qualification in mechanical or electrical with exposure to heavy mobile equipment.
• Mining industry experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment.
• Hold a full driver's license.
• The ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical and engineering drawings.
• Exhibit self-motivation, initiative, and a collaborative team spirit, driven by a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
