We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Service Team Leader to join the Komatsu business. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will be based in Mackay working Monday – Friday where your duties will provide you with on the job training to learn our systems and processes to develop into a Service Supervisor.
Communicating and building relationships directly with our important internal and external customers to quote and schedule work
Provide relief fill in for Field Service Supervisors when they are on leave
Ordering parts and supervising Apprentices
Closing out of your own work orders
Conduct servicing, repairs and diagnostics on construction equipment
The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:
Relevant Trade Certificate and or heavy maintenance equipment experience
Good technical knowledge and experience with Komatsu equipment
Experience in leading teams or proven experience in being self managed
Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computing systems
Current MR (Medium Rigid) or greater driver’s licence preferred
Mobile equipment maintenance experience on construction, quarry and mining size earthmoving equipment
A proven high level of customer service
