Technician - Lube Truck

The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technician to join the NSW (Central Region) team. This role will travel on-site to customers and provide minor service and repairs whilst draining and replacing fluids for our products engines, transmissions, and hydraulics.

The position will be required to work Monday - Friday between 7:30am – 4pm and regular overtime will be available. In addition to overtime, you will be paid a tool allowance. You will also receive a phone, laptop, and tool of trade vehicle. Komatsu uniforms will be provided as well.  

Komatsu is a registered RTO giving our employee's the potential for them to upskill and gain further experience on construction and mining plant machinery.

The Role:  

• Machine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs. 
• Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of technical understanding of the design & function of Komatsu equipment. 
• Workmanship is completed to a professional standard and in a timely manner. 
• Liaise with the customer where appropriate and report on the customer interaction.  
• Ensure that timesheets, service reports and relevant documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

What we are looking for:

• Current MR Drivers Licence
• Certified Diesel Tradesperson OR Mobile Plant
• Previous experience with Komatsu equipment would be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills for both Internal and External customers
• An excellent understanding and commitment to safety and environment
• Ability to work remotely and with minimal Supervision.
• Intermediate computer knowledge/skills
• Forklift Certification
• Working at Heights Certification
