The Opportunity:

The Machinery Detailer reports to the Workshop Supervisor and plays a crucial role in contributing to a professional team environment within the Komatsu Service Department. Their primary purpose is to work closely with our rental team preparing our rental equipment for incoming inspections and outgoing checks, most of the time will be spent in our wash bay cleaning the equipment prior to a technical inspection, we encourage people with a mechanical interest to apply but the primary duty will be cleaning. At Komatsu we ensure that high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained at all times.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 9 day fortnight, double time on all overtime worked

Role Located:  Dry Creek, Adelaide

What we are looking for:

• Has previous experience in a similar position.
• Holds a current driver’s licence
• Holds a current forklift licence
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service in line with our Customer Support Charter
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Able to work unsupervised
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail as this role involves a lot of detailing the machinery
