The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Customer Support Representative for our Gladstone branch to provide assistance to both internal and external customers with all queries regarding parts sales, orders and deliveries providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Parts queries, sales quotations and orders are processed in a timely manner ensuring the
  • Customer Support Centre meets the operational standards set by Komatsu and the CSC
  • (Customer Support Charter) through
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in part interpretation & order processing.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all Komatsu operating systems by demonstrating their effective use in parts order & supply chain activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all stakeholders.
  • Attend required or identified training opportunities & apply learned skills in job role.
  • Cross training in tasks outside normal duties to cover duties when other team members or branch staff are absent, on leave etc.
  • Ensure KPI’s for Amazon connect are met.
  • Provide regular feedback to customers on parts orders, backorders & delivery dates.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities in system or process to drive business profitability & efficiency.

What we are looking for:

  • Current driving license (forklift license will be advantageous).
  • Well-developed numeracy, written and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 knowledge not required, but highly regarded.
  • Sound working knowledge of earth moving equipment and strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Trade qualification/s will be highly regarded.
  • Parts interpreting experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills & with an attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise competing work tasks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of parts sales & supply chain
  • Experience in inventory control and warehouse systems
  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels while providing a professional service.
  • Intermediate computer skills specifically Microsoft suite
  • Ability to identify & upsell or escalate addition parts, service & sales opportunities where required.

Qualification/s

  • Parts Interpreter Cert – Desired but not required
