The Opportunity:
Komatsu Australia is now offering Visa sponsorship assistance to candidates either living abroad or within Australia and meet the below criteria. As an Approved Business Sponsor, Komatsu Australia is seeking qualified Plant Mechanics with extensive experience servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy earthmoving machinery. These positions will be based across regional Australia, including:
- Gunnedah
- Hunter Valley Region
- Pilbara Region
- Various Branches within Western Australia (Geraldton, Bunbury & Perth)
- Bowen Basin
Roster: This is dependent on the region however can consist of either of the following rotations:
- one week on, one week off
- two weeks on, one week off
- 4 days on, 5 days off, 5 days on, 4 days off
- eight days on, 6 days off
- two+ weeks on, one week off
Remuneration: This is dependent on the region and your roster however will range between:
- $100,000 - $180,000 + Superannuation + Field Service Vehicle + Exceptional employee benefits including relocation allowance ($8,500)

Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification (Diesel Fitting / Heavy Equipment / Mobile Plant Technology) or equivalent
- Previous OEM experience on heavy earthmoving machinery including diagnostics, repairs and servicing (exposure to Komatsu equipment is high advantageous)
- A valid C Class driver's licence
- Ability to competently work unsupervised as well as within a team environment
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service and commitment to safety.
